libby d's is the expression of my long love affair with all things nature and design, from making daisy chains with my mom on a hillside in Germany to formal training, art and travel.  As owner and designer I am excited that the extraordinary realism and quality of the new faux allows me to work in a naturalistic way.  I find inspiration in the English Garden style for its spontaneous "just picked" beauty and in 17th Century Dutch Still Life's with their total disregard for season and growing proximity, opting instead for vibrancy and drama.  I draw on Ikebana for line and Wabi- Sabi, the art of perfectly imperfect. I like my flowers to tell a story, to say "look at me" and so many of my arrangements are different on each side and tend to be asymmetrical. That being said, who can say no to a bowl full of peonies? Or roses?
